I wanted to show how you don't have to go all out on the cards when creating them, this is super subtle but also a super WOW effect. I just stamped the images in our new basic black ink then sponged early espresso over the entire card. Once I had that part done I thought it needed a tad bit of green; so I took the vines and stamped them in cucumber crush, I stamped off on a sheet of scrap paper before stamping the image on my card so it gave it a softer feel. There wasn't any rhyme or reason to the stamping, just added ink to the spots that I thought needed a little something :-) I think I'll be making another one of these and sending it to my grandma; she loves it when I send her little things in the mail, this one is just perfect for her.
WOW we are already in the month of November; it's so hard to believe this year is almost up. To keep up with out theme of "Share a Caring Thought", I thought it was only appropriate to use the heart velum paper. I thought it added just the right amount of pizzazz to this "Thanks" card, I also cute 1 1/4 inch strip off the side and used the stems to create a cute boarder along the side of the card. I hope you enjoy my first creation :-)
OK so I know we are approaching winter :-( "I hate the cold" but I loved the beautiful spring colors of this design. How fun would it be to send a friend this card who is having a bad "weather week", I think I have plenty of friends in the extreme cold areas who would love this.
If you have ever brayered before this is what it reminds me of with a little less work :-)....I added a couple candy dots to the i's and some brads to the center flower and Tada you have a beautiful card. Thanks for stopping by don't forget to leave a commit below :-)....
OMGoodness we are at the end of November wow where has time gone, this is our last challenge using this months kit, I sure hope you enjoyed all the different ways you can use it, I know I enjoy making them :-)
On this design I cut 2 1inch strips of the green vine paper and covered the seam with a cute little bow..... so many ways to do things it's just amazing how each person can come up with such cool stuff to design.....
